the cottage was tastefully renovated and finished to a very high standard. It had lots of nice touches, like milk in the fridge on arrival and a selection of tea, coffee, and biscuits. the kitchen was well equipped with a large cooker and a vast array of cooking utensils, making it perfect for visitors who enjoy cooking meals while away. the rural location was delightful, and we enjoyed hearing the sheep in the nearby fields. Rachel, our host, was lovely and made us feel very welcome. The cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and Compton Martin was a great base for exploring Somerset. Cons: Hard to think of anything 😊.

We absolutely loved our stay at Woodview! The cottage was super cosy and had everything we needed. The large cooker and array of cooking utensils were perfect for us as we enjoy cooking while on vacation. The location was great, with beautiful rural surroundings and the sound of sheep in nearby fields. We also appreciated the wood burning fire in the evenings. Rachel, our host, was friendly and welcoming, and the cottage had lots of nice touches like milk, tea, coffee. Woodview provided a high standard of accommodation and we'd love to come back and explore Somerset further!
